MEET PAULA
Paula Furlong is an artist mainly working in oils and creating ceramic wall sculptures. Originally from the South Shore of Boston she has lived in Hollis New Hampshire for over 20 years. The Art Junction Studio is located in her home.where she creates fine art and pottery. Paula has shown her work in a variety of shows in the Boston area and Southern New Hampshire. Many of her oil paintings and black and white photographs have won awards.
Paula received a degree in Mechanical Engineering and minored in art. Considering herself a dabbler, she began painting in her youth learning from every source available and painting on any surface available. Later she studied with renowned artists and furthered her studies at several art schools including Nantucket School of Design and the Arts. After 30 plus years of teaching art, she is working with clay and mixed media. Her love of childhood stories, nursery rhymes and fairy tales are coming to life as ceramic wall sculptures.
Memberships include New Hampshire Art Educators Association and NHIA Artist Membership.
